Salma Hayek's illegal-immigrant tenure was not as dramatic and hard-scrabble as it might initially sound.The "Frida" actress describes herself as a former illegal immigrant in an interview with Spain's V magazine.

"I was an illegal immigrant in the United States. It was for a small period of time, but I still did it," the Mexican-born "Ugly Betty" producer says.

Hayek moved to Los Angeles in 1991, and her visa expired shortly after, the New York Daily News reports.

Her publicist clarifies to E! Online that the star's status "was cleaned up immediately, as Salma went to Mexico and renewed" her visa. Hayek has become an American citizen.

Meanwhile Bollywood's badman Gulshan Grover says his industry friends like Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff are green with envy that he has bagged the role of Hollywood hottie Salma Hayek's husband.

The singer has not commented on how the photos, which were reportedly taken in a Hollywood hotel bathroom, through a reflection in a large mirror, suddenly ended up on the world stage across the internet.These pictures of Rihanna in various shots including her topless pictures ,One photo in particular shows the star from her leg up covering one breast with a pink towel, while the other breast, which is pierced with a ring, is show in the other.

Brittney Bergeron survived a horific attack when she was only 10.Brittney was living with her mother and half-sister when a dispute over drugs resulted in a violent attack. The 10-year-old was left without a family and paralyzed from the waist down.

Brittney Bergeron had parents who struggled with drugs, alcohol and gambling and lack of money.Her mother, Tamara Bergeron, usually unemployed and often on drugs and had been busted for methamphetamines while her father, Kevin Bergeron, had spent time in jail for driving under the influence.

Brittney Bergeron was stabbed 27 times -- in her arms, chest, back and legs.

Brittney and her sister Kristyanna were treated at the Trauma Center at University Medical Center in Las Vegas and rushed into surgery. Kristyanna had been stabbed, and the knife had pierced her skull and brain. Kristyanna never made it out alive. Meantime, Brittney was in the operating room for two hours. Upon waking up, she learned that one of the knife wounds had severed her spinal cord and she could never walk again.

However these horific incidents has not affected Brittney's outlook towards life and she has kept a positive out look about her prognosis.

“A lot of people have come up to me and say, you know, do you miss walking? And I say, you know, actually, I don’t. Overall, I think I like being in a wheelchair better because I have a better life. Before I didn’t have such a great life.”

Brittney now lives with one of Nevada’s award-winning foster care parents, Judy and Bill Himel, who adopted her. Brittney has undergone hundreds of hours of counseling and physical therapy, and has adjusted to life as a paraplegic. She is now an accomplished athlete, competing in more than 15 states in track and field, and hopes to be in the Para-Olympics in London in 2012.

Daniel Dae Kim,the south Korean born American actor who is best known for playing Jin-Soo Kwon on the television series "Lost" has leaded no contest to drunken driving charges and was ordered to pay a $500 fine.

Kim, 40, who plays Jin-Soo Kwon, was arrested Oct. 25 when a police officer spotted him driving erratically in Honolulu. His blood alcohol content was 0.168, more than double the state's legal limit.Kim was the most recent of several Lost co-stars to be arrested for DUI, the others being Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros.

"You need to understand that 0.168 is more that double the legal limit. It means you were seriously impaired," District Judge William Cardwell said. "And it just cannot happen again. It's simply too dangerous."

Kim's driving license was revoked and he has to perform 72 hours of community service.

At last year's MTV Video Music Awards Britney was out of shape and out of touch and not to mention she was going through one of the most difficult periods in her life ,everything from her cleavage to her underwear which she was sporting became the butt of jokes and ridicule but now a year later the pop princess is back to her best - slimmer than ever and glowing as she rehearses the steps to a complex new dance routine.

The clip of Britney and her dancers has been released on the internet and has if several gossip sites and blogs are to be believed them Britney may be planning a surprise comeback at tomorrow's ceremony.

She is set to raise the curtain at the star-studded show on Sunday night, however there is unlikely to be a repeat performance of last year, where she opened the show with a disastrous rendition of Gimme More.

In the Rehearsels,pictures shows Britney in a tiny tied up cropped top swaying her breasts around several men ,as she and her dancers spring around the rehearsal.

However it seems Britney will open this years VMA awards but will not sing,but perform something this year.The VMAs, which are being hosted by British comedian Russell Brand, will air on US television on Sunday night.
